Engineering Report
Kelly Cole Reporting
Kelly collected these stats at 1845 this evening - later than expected due to her involvement in both EVAs 2 and 3.
Gasoline Generator:
Gasoline Consumption: 10 gallons were used since 4pm yesterday.
We again ran out of gas last night, just as we were about to refill.
We have come to the obvious conclusion that more power is needed this week (due to more computers and the water heater) so we will refill it more often.
Oil Level: About twenty minutes after Shannon and Kelly refilled the generator this morning, it quit - needing an oil change much earlier than scheduled.
We don't know why this occured, however changed the oil as the generator demanded at 0720.
Propane Tank Level: 70%
Water:
Outside Level: 109.58 gallons remaining
Inside Tank Reading: 65 gallons remaining
Water Consumption: 117 gallons consumed
GreenHab:
Grey-Water Level: 25% with bubbles
Tank #5 Flush Count: 19
HVAC: There is nothing new to report.
Transportation: EVA #1 was performed using the PEV "Aonia." We also found a working battery charger today during EVA #2 in the Observatory, however are expecting a new ATV battery and equipment tomorrow, according to Mission Support.
Mars-Suits: There is nothing new to report.
Computers & Network: There is nothing new to report.
Data Logger: The needed cables were found at the Observatory today during EVA #2. Amber and Kelly will hopefully attack this project tomorrow.
