Log Book for March 24, 2005
Commander's Check-In
Jan Osburg Reporting

EVA: two EVAs - one to complete the "spider web" waypoint grid around the hab, and one long-range motorized EVA to test long-range mobility and communications

Crew Physical Status: Excellent

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: The two EVAs marked a major milestone: the end of our measurement program around the hab, and the start of the long-range communications experiments. In between we continued upgrading the hab and planning the next days.

Plans for Tomorrow: three major, related activities are planned: hosting the team from the History Channel, analyzing the results of today's EVAs, and attempting another long-range EVA.

Report Transmission Schedule: late due to the long-range EVA that just ended

Maintenance: Doug continued leveling doors and fixing latches.

Inventory: Don resupplied potable water and fuel.

Support Requested: the generator needs spark plugs and air filters for periodic maintenance.

More to follow.

Jan Osburg
Commander, MDRS Crew 37
