Log Book for April 29, 2006
Commander's Check-In
Dr. William J. Clancey Reporting

Weather: Clear, hazy mountains; cool in morning, warmer in afternoon, but pleasant; low 2.0c (35.6 F) high 24.8c (76.6 F), humidity 10% at 5:30 pm.

Crew Physical Status: Fine.

Brief Narrative of Today's Results: Our work is proceeding on schedule so we took a break. Mike, Bill, Vandi, and Paul went to Goblin Valley to hike the Bell Canyon and Little Wild Horse Canyons (9 miles). Conditions were ideal except for perhaps encountering other people in the narrows of the Wild Horse slot canyon on return. Brent and Maarten went off to Lake Powell. John drove to Green River to buy groceries. Ron stayed in his room at "the Sands," working all day. Yeh, Ron.

EVA: No sims.

Plans for Tomorrow: TBD, I'd like to read.

1. Report Transmission Schedule.
2. Engineering report (timing unknown)
3. GreenHab report (soon)

Inventory: Now ready for another week.

Support Requested: Nothing required.

Miscellaneous: Time for a shower.

Bill Clancey
Commander, MDRS Crew 49
