Log Book for May 10, 2006
Commander's Check-In
Kevin Sloan Reporting

Crew Status: The crew is in good condition.

Hab Status: The Hab is in good condition.

Daily Summary: Today's biggest accomplishment was the extensive testing done on the Penn State rover. Yesterday's upgrades and modifications paid off well as the rover was able to log more than a third of a mile. Observing the Penn State team working with the rover is also helping to shape the rules and guidelines for the University Robotics Challenge. The crew has also been working on various Hab systems, including the observatory and fixing the EVA suits.

Report Transmission Schedule:

1. Commander's Check-In (this report) - Kevin Sloan
2. Commander's Log - Kevin Sloan
3. Engineering Report - Tim Serge
4. GreenHab Report - Alex Baldowski
5. Rover Report - Amy Blank & Joe Sapp

Support Requested: We need Hab shut-down procedures. We have already been advised on the food situation. Should we be consuming the plants in GreenHab down to the stems? Details also needed for the power systems, GreenHab, the ATVs, and any other issues that need to be attended to.

Kevin Sloan
Commander, MDRS Crew 50
