Mars Desert Research Station Crew 138 arrived on Analog Mars today in great spirits and full of excitement for our two-week expedition. Crew 137 left the research station in really great shape for our crew, making our transition to life on Mars very easy. Tonight's activities focused on settling in and organizing the Habitat, familiarizing ourselves with the operating systems and reporting procedures, and orienting ourselves to the unique environment where our research station is located.
Tomorrow's activities will focus on further exploration of the environment in the immediate vicinity of the Habitat, and light maintenance in and around the Habitat. We would like to say hello to our family, friends, and colleagues on Earth. See you on the flip side.
