Today, we broke sim. It was as bittersweet as we imagined it to be, but we’re assimilating very well back to Earth pressure. It feels fantastic to go outside, and to wander around the landscape unencumbered. We certainly have a renewed appreciation for our fragile atmosphere here on Earth.
We spent the day breaking down science projects, packing up, and cleaning the Hab in anticipation of the next crew’s arrival tomorrow. We’ll spend the evening making a simple meal, sharing photos, and playing the board game “Settlers of Catan”.
I also finished an article for German Vogue today, which will be out in newsstands in April.
