SOL: 8
Person filling out Report: Mohammad IRANMANESH, XO
Summary Title: Mondays are better on Mars.
Mission Status: All systems GO.

Sol Activity Summary: Geology EVA. Work on projects. Extensive testing of backpack for troubleshooting.

Look Ahead Plan: New protocols in order to reduce water consumption. Optimise EVA scheduling of the next few days to allow all experiments to get interesting results while allowing Arthur & Louis to get more experienced with EVAs and be ready for their future missions to MDRS.

Anomalies in work: Weird behavior of some backpack batteries as reported by Camille.
Weather: Warm day. Very sunny in the afternoon.
Crew Physical Status: The crew feels great.
EVA: The EVA crew liked the geology experiment. Unfortunately the terrain chosen by the experimenter for the sampling and measurement was not geologically very interesting. At the end of the EVA, some objects were disposed on the face of a cliff nearby the HAB for a test of the CRV camera system tomorrow.
