Commander's Check-In

Crew Physical Status: All crew members are fit and healthy, with excellent morale.

Brief Narrative of Mission Results: The main activity today was an ATV based EVA to Mid Ridge Planitia which took most of the day for the EVA crew. The remaining crew members were occupied with engineering tasks, GreenHab work and planning for tomorrows EVA.

Plans for Tomorrow: Tomorrow we plan to mount a geological ATV EVA using the Western route identified today, sampling areas to the North West of the hab. We also plan to stage the postponed ATV towing exercise.

The reports will be submitted by 20:30 this evening.

Inventory: Our shortage of AA batteries is becoming acute and will soon start to impact EVA activity due to the battery requirements of radios and GPS units. We have been unable to locate mouth pieces for the suit water bladders, or spare cartridges for the printer.

Support Requested: waterproof paper for printing maps resupply of AA batteries.
