Log Book for March 7, 2004
Commander's Check-In
Kevin Sloan Reporting

Crew Status: All 6 crew members are rather fatigued from a very busy week. They are recovering today, and should be in tip-top condition by tomorrow.

Daily Recap: So far today Crew 25 has managed to get by without any major problems, specifically with those pertaining to the power system. This afternoon Don Foutz stopped by, and helped the crew to get the diesel generator online after last night's fireworks display. So far today the diesel has been running without any issues (knock on wood). This morning Amy, Daniel and Jason completed the fourth RST directed geology mission on EVA 11. They hiked in from the ATV trail to a couple of sites located north-northwest of the Hab. The majority of this afternoon has been spent working on smaller tasks around the Hab and otherwise resting, as most of the crew is exhausted from such a grueling schedule over the past week.

Tomorrow's Plan: Tomorrow the crew will be back up to full speed, working on the PSUMS rover. Also, now that the crew is in its last week, more ambitious EVAs will be attempted.

Daily Reports: The standard reports should be in tonight by 21:30. The science and EVA reports will follow later tonight or early tomorrow.

  4. GreenHab Report -- Dennis Creamer
  5. EVA Reports -- Daniel Hegeman

Support Requested: The crew would like to know when the scheduled pick-up date for the propane tanks will be. As soon as those are gone, a final home can be built for the diesel generator, behind the rock wall.
