Normal chores in the GreenHab were performed on each of these occasions:
- Information downloaded successfully from datalogger with probe hanging in Tank #4. Following mission control advice datalogger information loaded onto hab computer.
- Information downloaded successfully from datalogger mounted on the centre beam in the GreenHab. Information loaded onto Hab computer.
- Water was flowing into tank #5 from tank #4 at a rate of 3-4 drips per second at 08:00 hours. It had decreased to 1 drip every 43 seconds by 12:00 hours and had stopped altogether by 20:00 hours.
- Both aerators are working, one is in Tank #2 and one in Tank #4. There were no Suds in Tank #2.
- All plants were sprayed with water on each visit.
- The sump pump is connected to a timer which activates the system at 12:00 hours and 00:00 hours.
- There were no wet patches on the floor in the GreenHab today.
- The water levels in the GreenHab are now nearly back to normal, allowing the TST tank to be filled as needed by the pump.
Requesting advice on location of light sensors to monitor light levels above the plants. Operations manual number 6 states that the lights above the plants should be turned on at set times of the day. Can you confirm if this is the case, and if so at what times.
