Log Book for March 3, 2007
Journalist Report
Kathryn Bywaters Reporting

Today was filled with mixed emotions. It is the end of our rotation but only the beginning of our journey as a crew. We have had a great two weeks together. We have bonded, trained and learned a lot about each other as well as how we work together.

We finished up the wilderness first aid course, which was just a wonderful experience. The skills that we have learned have made me entirely more confident in my abilities to aid someone in need. Continuing my first aid training is now another item added to the list of things I wish to do.

After the end of the class we all took a trip to the local rock shop to riffle through their bins of just absolutely fabulous samples looking for the perfect pieces to take home. I believe that we all took something home. From there we went to the local burger joint to pick up some of their infamous milkshakes.

Today was a great last day. I will miss each and every one of them until we reunite for our four month adventure.
