Crew Narrative
Iahu-Anat Westenberg Reporting

No drivers license needed. Today was fun, we did ride on the ATVs. But we did also needed to do our homework and we've got instructions on the laboratories in the Hab.

But to ride an ATV while I am only twelve years old is a dream. In the Netherlands I have to wait until I am 18 to be allowed to drive a machine with such powerful engine as an ATV.

The day started with a breakfast meeting and right after that we've only got 15 minutes to change our clothes and brush our teeth. When the instructions about the Hab ended we were set to do our homework. The homework I did today was my Dutch and a little bit of my Math.

After lunch we've got lessons how to ride an ATV, that was lots of fun. Paul explained how to drive and how not to drive, which was riding so hard that you almost fly over the hill instead of driving. Everybody did ride the ATV, and I did go a lot on it because I found it fun. The speed, wind in your hair and the sound of the ATV. I'm really built for speed.

After riding the ATVs Angie, Maddie, Jared, Gino and I watched the sun going down. It was beautiful as the sky just above the hills turned at a certain moment pink, but the sky above that was dark blue. When the sun was down we went inside and had dinner with the crew and Paul too. It was delicious, we ate Indian food. It was rice with bread and vegetables.
