Space Suit Update
Stacy Sklar Reporting

The new suit straps worked well but could be longer by adding more Velcro. The bulkiness in the suit added to limited mobility with walking and climbing. It also added in the inability to use the front pockets which are larger size. I would recommend that the pockets be moved to the sides for easier access and visibility. The ventilation good under the arms is a very good idea. Cod piece feels uncomfortable. The new suit will replace old suit 4.

Not In Service Problems: Current Problems with PTT Helmet 2 PLSS 3 motor not running - Possible reasons fuse, battery charger, and/or battery. Current crew did not have enough time to fix, Crew 60 has been informed of problems.

In Service Problems: PLSS-4 airflow valves no longer connected to plastic tub structure.

Backpack structure on 4 of the PLSS units where lowered due neck problems. Also, suggested tightening neck rings closer to packs and that crews try to fit packs according to there preference at start of rotation.

Suit photos will be uploaded to Webdav in the next day.
