Log Book for March 23, 2007
Erik's Recipe for Sweet Joy & Joyness
Curtis Iwata Reporting

    7 slices of Erik
    3 lbs of Jonathan
    2 boxes of Dean
    1 sprinkle of Elizabeth
    ½ bottle of Emily
    2 scribbles of Curtis
    9 scratches of Pixel
    (1 hunk of Paul)

  1. Take out Erik, Emily and Jonathan out their beds to thaw and make only one of them go fix the problem. It's probably the generator that ran out of fuel during the night. Do not add the scratches of Pixel in the mix because apparently he is hyper-active in the early-mornings.

  2. Once the problem is fixed, the first three ingredients will naturally go back to bed. Let them lay in a dark room. After about two hours, Elizabeth and Curtis will naturally rise to make biscuits.

  3. Today's recipe is best slow cooked. Breakfast will be served at 10 am, and it will start it to rain. If you try to add the EVA now, it will be a disaster. Pour the half bottle of Emily to keep Curtis and Dean indoors. Let Elizabeth set up the bread maker for lunch.

  4. Time will fly from now 'til lunch, but let them do their thing. Dribble a scribble of Curtis to install Matlab and work on geology. Fry a pound of Jonathan to make a prototype of his nightlights up to the Musk Observatory. Add a half-box of Dean to go check on the Green Hab. A dash of Elizabeth will make things go smoothly. A supply of Gatorade will be delivered to replenish the bottle of Emily.

  5. It's time for lunch, but don't mix all the ingredients at once. They will be disagreeable. Use 3 slices of Erik and his magical wonders are to behold. It should yield yummy quesadillas.

  6. Now it's time to fix the path up to the Musk Observatory. Set the oven to 1pm and cook the remaining 1.5 boxes of Dean and 1 scribble of Curtis to accomplish the task. Once they start turning tired, add 2 pounds of Jonathan and another dash of Elizabeth to finish the job. Make sure to take pictures.

  7. Gather all the ingredients to take the human factors test. This is probably the most boring part of the recipe so skip if you can.

  8. Make sure the slices of Erik finishes first so he can start cooking the enchanting jambalaya. It will be delicious and the other ingredients will agree (perhaps excluding Pixel). A hunk of Paul working on the generator can be added as a garnish. You can also add the scratches of Pixel, but be warned, he will shed on you.

  9. Collect any remaining scraps and leftovers and put them to bed. Tomorrow will be another busy day.
