Log Book for March 26, 2007
EVA Report
Elizabeth Tang Reporting

EVA-4:

Time: 1059 (enter airlock for departure) - 1303 (leave airlock on return)
Crew Members: Curtis Iwata, Dean Liao, Elizabeth Tang
Site Location: Walked around about 200 ft from the Hab
Transit Mode: Pedestrian

Objectives: Survey the land near the High Frequency antenna to take readings for the magnetometer and conductivity meter.

Lessons Learned:
  • It is difficult to push buttons with gloves on.
  • It's very hot to be in the suits around noon.
  • Glasses would slip off of the nose when the face is sweaty, so contact lens are highly recommended.
  • The equipments were heavy to carry around by hand.
  • It really helped to put the harness on before the EVA
