EVA #1 Report



Time:
16:10-17:25


Crew Members:
Kerry, Nasim, Cheryl, Mic, Arthur (John, Anna, Perry w/o suits)


Site Location:
Climbed Hab Ridge and traversed north for several 100 meters before
descending and returning to the Hab


Transit Mode:
Pedestrian EVA


Objectives:
To have our first experience with the EVA suits and familiarize
ourselves with the area. To have Kerry introduce us to several
geological features around the Hab.


Lessons Learned:
Introduced to the problem of helmet fogging. Became more familiar with
communication protocols in the EVA suits. Learned the importance of
ensuring properly fitted helmets and EVA suits.
