Notes/Comments:
Gas generator was leaking oil last night, so we turned it off at around
10:45 p.m. Power being drawn by Hab overnight was minimal but batteries
were drained by morning. Oil was changed on generator to a lighter oil
(SAE 30 - V'ger oil) and fuel was added and generator restarted.
Xantrex was set to charge only mode to quickly recharge batteries.
Power situation is now stable. We will run the generator 24/7 until
further notice.

V'ger oil being used to top up generator, which is leaking oil.

Trailer Potable Water Tank Level: 20.5 cm from the base

Potable Water Meter Reading: 25467.2 gallons = 96403.5 L

Notes/Comments:
Outside potable water tank measurement is in units of inches, measured
from the base of the tank.

Water will be pumped from main water tank into attic tank this evening
using the in-tank pump plugged into the gas generator in the
Engineering Area.

Notes/Comments:
2 ATV EVAs were conducted today.
ATV 2 (green Kawasaki) shows no signs of battery life when the key is
turned on. May try replacing the battery or jump starting it tomorrow.



Mars Surface Suits:
3 EVAs today. All 6 suits used and in working order.


Computers/Networking Infrastructure:
Internet service was much improved today.

Conducted EVA to scope out a route for running a power cable to the
repeater peak for line-of-sight to tower in Hanksville for 10 Mbps
internet service (per suggestion from Don). Laid a measured line from
Hab to 60 meters up and from peak to 30 meters down. Marked remaining
path with rocks. Will complete the line tomorrow.
