Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
EVA 17: Kerry and Perry dug four holes.

EVA 18: Collected 5 soil samples from evaporite deposits for
extremophile project.


EVA Data/Interpretations:
EVA 17: Project proceeding as planned.

EVA 18: Samples brought back to Hab and stored for transport back to
Earth for analysis.


Hab Maintenance:
Further work was done on the water heater. Work was started on our
personal movie which we will use for public outreach in presentations
to ISU and classes at high schools and universities.

Plans for Tomorrow:
Tomorrow we will send out an EVA in our simulated pressurized rover to
Factory Bench to collect evaporite samples. Kerry will also conduct
his daily geology EVA and we may squeeze in a second extremophile EVA.


Inventory:
Food stocks sufficient. Gas & Diesel supply sufficient. Water
suficient.
