Operations Data Collected:
Another successful EVA (EVA-17) resulted in 4 holes being drilled and
sampled. All holes were drilled with ease to the optimal depth of 3ft,
and all crew members have now experienced soil gas sampling techniques.


3-4cm thick gypsum crystals were sampled from Mid Ridge Planitia, which
will be cleaned up and examined after soil gas sampling is complete.

All equipment worked optimally, no issues to report.


Discussion:
4 of 18 holes remain to be drilled. I fully expect these to be
completed by tomorrow.

After drilling is complete, data analysis can begin. Additionally,
there are some samples at hab to analyze and catalogue.

If time permits, an inventory of geology equipment at MDRS will be
performed for Mission Support.
