Kerry Cupit

Project:
Soil Gas Analysis at MDRS as a Rapid Resource and Geologic Assessment
Tool

Personnel:
Kerry Cupit

Operations Data Collected:
Began data analysis on soil gas data. Preliminary results are
inconclusive, however, further analysis will be done over the next few
days and weeks.

Began cataloguing and analyzing samples collected since the beginning
of the mission by myself and other crew members. Details will be
submitted once more samples have been identified.

Technical/Equipment Issues:
Lab equipment worked as expected.

Discussion:
There are many rock samples at the hab left to clean, analyze and
catalogue. They'll be detailed in this science report as progress is
made in the next 48-72 hours. They will then be divided up for
souvenirs amongst the crew at the end of our rotation.

It should be possible to complete an inventory of geology equipment at
MDRS before the close of the mission.

Questions for RST:
None at this time.
