Private Ham and Heather Allaway

Welcome to the wondrous world of Mars Expedition Epsilon. Part of the
new crew arrived after dark last night. There were friendly hellos
between old friends and new friendships were quickly formed between the
ExDelta and ExEpsilon crews.
A small celebration proceeded due to it
being the birthday of one to the ExDelta crew members, Nasim. After a
few hours of discussion the inhabitants of the hab, now 12 people,
organized themselves for a cozy sleep on the upper deck.

In the morning the two crews ate breakfast together, yummy granola and
blueberries. The crew handover was then initiated and ExEpsilon was
shown the ropes of the newly repaired systems by ExDelta. After all
the fun stuff was said and done a small game of Frisbee was started out
on the surface. There was some excitement. Some game enthusiasts were
not the most accurate throws and the pressurized rover was hit a few
times. The ExDelta commander, John, donned a special helmet to protect
himself from the wandering Frisbee.

After the pressurized rover was loaded with ExDelta’s equipment they
departed. They were excited to have a non-freeze dried meal. It was
sad to see them go but exciting to see the new crew arrive to take
over. The final two members of ExEpsilon arrive late tonight after
they procure the pressurized rover from ExDelta.

Hope the world out there is doing well. ExEpsilon is doing well on
their first quiet day on Mars, though this will be the last quiet day
for quite awhile.
