Site Location:
West of the Hab up to the Radio Ridge next to the old repeater.


Transit Mode:
Pedestrian


Objectives:
To climb Radio Ridge in full simulation.
Covered the suit dawning and removal procedures, radio communications,
pressurization cycles.
Familiarize the crew with the Hab area and desert environment.


Lessons Learned:
Suiting up and down, radio com and the joys of bulky gloves and
cameras. Avoid sneezing in bubble.

Radio ridge can be difficult to climb in suits but very feasible. Good
steady slope up the ridge next to ATV training area (close to
engineering area). Observed ancient oyster beds.
