Mudflats across Radio Ridge and the Base of Skyline Ridge


Transit Mode:
Pedestrian


Objectives:
Biological sampling of the salty mudflats and the base of Skyline
Ridge. Biology cross-training. Collect some calcite crystals from the
carbonate mound.


Lessons Learned:
Protocol for collecting biological samples: open test tubes while
holding them vertically so not to spill any alcohol from within the
tube. Avoid touching the samples with anything that is not sterilized
- gloves included.
