Special Science Report
February 25, 2008
Phillip Cunio

Project: Smart Small Logistics Container

Personnel:
Arthur Guest (Crew 66)
Phillip Cunio (Crew 67)

Operations Data Collected:
The SSLC was again carried out of the Hab for in-field mobility tests.
This time the SSLC was loaded with roughly two person-weeks of
freeze-dried food, corresponding to a two- or three-day supply for a
full crew. The SSLC was carried on a 100-meter route twice, and then
on a separate 100-meter route once again.

It appears that the SSLC is very much crew-portable, and fits well
through the airlock, although a redesign of the handles may prove
useful, as the fingers and hands of the carrying crew were the first
parts to feel fatigued.

Technical/Equipment Issues: None.

Discussion: Resume testing of tags.

Questions for CSO: None at this time.
