EVA #1 Report
March 2, 2008

Veronica Ann Zabala-Aliberto

Time:
Departed at 16:30; Returned at 18:00

Crew Members:
Commander, HSO, Chief Engineer, Mission Specialist, Executive Officer
in Training, Security Officer

Site Location:
Traversed to territory near MDRS boundaries. This region is near
Candor Chasma.

Transit Mode:
PEV #1, #2, and #3

Objectives:
This afternoon the F.L.A.M.E. Crew took a brief EVA near the vicinity
of Candor Chasma in order to hone in on our PEV (Pressurized
Extravehicular Activity Vehicle) skills and to train our Chief
Engineer. We will conduct more training tomorrow before we go into
full simulation at 1800 hrs.

Lessons Learned:
You can never beat the weather or the sun to finish your EVA. If you
cannot finish your work today...finish it anyway for tomorrow will be
too late!
