EVA #8 Report
March 9, 2008
Stacy T, Sklar

Time: Departed 17:00; Returned 19:00

Crew Members:
Executive Officer and Executive Officer in Training

Site Location: Hab Ridge
Transit Mode: Pedestrian

Objectives:
Data collection of EVA and field metrics on Hab Ridge

Lessons Learned:
Instead of the Lessons Learned here is the Executive Officer in
Training's EVA Report:

Today both Executive Officers were out on EVA. The Executive Officer in
training went to go help our Executive officer. What we did was go up
to HAB ridge and went to go look at the Fossils up there once more. We
both took a few pictures of the area as the sun started to go lower
into the sky. I was able to perform a small and fast hypothesis that I
had. My question was ‘If the fossils are fractured and has holes in
them then do the fossils in the ground that are held perfectly
preserved, do those have holes? Or are they in good shape?’

We had to leave early due to the sun starting to set in the west. We still had a
few things that we had to do so we are planning to return tomorrow and complete our EVA. We both wish that we could have just been thereforever.
