Project: Fossil Mapping

Personnel: Stacy Sklar & Angie Zabala

Operations Data Collected:
Data from only one site on Hab Ridge (4251250 517750) was collected due
to time constraints. The FDM was used to document this site.
Observations made at this site include (0% corrosion, 95% fragmental,
5% disarticulate, <1% bio-erosion (drill holes), 75% concave up and 25%
concave down orientation)

Several large Gryphaea samples (4.5cm) were collected en route to
pre-determined site.

Technical/Equipment Issues:
Only a 180 panoramic image was obtained instead of the normal 360 due
to direct sunlight in camera lens. Sun light was also obscuring GPS
readings; therefore, EVA for tomorrow will be planned for
mid-afternoon.

Discussion: None
