Executive Officer in Training Report

March 12, 2008

Angelina Zabala

Late to bed and early to rise makes a Martian tired, lazy, and not so
wise.
Some people went to bed early and some stayed up to the right
time to go to bed. Everyone has been a little tired due to the sleep and
wake schedule. Everyone was bright and all wake, but me on the other
hand, due to me being the only one staying up to the right time, has been a
little out of it. It was hard to focus on my field work today on my
early EVA. As soon as I woke up I ate and then was quickly down the
stairs into a suit to go to HAB Ridge.

Everyone’s behavior has been the same and a little tired. Our
commander, educator, suit specialist, and security officer went to the
same EVA site as yesterday. They were able to bring back some samples
as well. The Executive Officer and I went up to HAB Ridge and
found some interesting fossils. Tomorrow plans to be another bright and
sun shining day.
