Project: Green Hab - Plant maintenance, pH meter Calibration

Personnel:
Tulika Raj

The water from the autoclave was siphoned out into one of the old
autoclave water containers and labeled. There was no distilled water to
prepare a saturated NaCl solution. Thus, the pH tester was soaked in pH
7 buffer solution for the night.

Technical/Equipment Issues:

None

Discussion / Questions :
There is still some water in the tank attached to the autoclave, and
the steel container beside it. Do those need to be drained out as well?
Do I check the pH of the aquatic tanks before transplanting 25% of the
water hyacinths from AT#2 to AT#1, and then based on the pH transplant
the hyacinths? Or, do I just transplant them irrespective of the pH of
the Aquatic Tanks?
