Commander's Check-In
Emily Colvin Reporting
Commander's Check-In Report
March 21, 2008
Emily Colvin
Crew Physical Status: After the EVA, we've got a couple of sore people in need of food, but overall we're doing well.
Time Departed/Returned from EVA: Departed 16:16 Returned 18:10
Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results: This was everyone's introduction to the actual wearing of the EVA suits, which is always fun. This was also a photo-op for our visiting photographer.
EVA Data/Interpretations: No data, but Elizabeth seemed happy with the pictures she was able to get.
Hab Maintenance: Nothing really today - we cleaned up a bit before Elizabeth got here, and we rewired the helmets for our radios.
Report Transmission Schedule: We'll have this, commander's, engineering, journalist, and EVA reports. And they should be on time.
Plans for Tomorrow: A few members of the crew are waking up early for a sunrise photo-op (which they're using as an excuse to see the sunrise), and then we'll have a full EVA in the afternoon. Expect a tentative EVA plan today or tomorrow, since I'm not sure if all of the roads (except Sagan St) are open.
Inventory: Don came out with a black ink refill and says that we'll have new cartridges Monday. With the black ink we got today, we'll be able to make our own nametags.
Support Requested: None.
Miscellaneous: It's been a long day, and I think everybody's going to want to sleep early tonight. At least that way we'll quit doing things like breaking Tabasco bottles...
