Commander's Report
21 March 2008

Emily Colvin

What a day! We got up this morning and got the Hab cleaned up a bit for
our media visit. Since then, it's just been lots of insanity. Rewiring
the helmets gave us some problems, because some have different setups
and others were reattached WAY too well by the last crew to take them
apart.

And the evening has been like a bad comedy sitcom. Just one thing after
another - equipment being difficult. The sad death of the Tabasco
bottle (no one was injured, although one crewmember learned the
unfortunate lesson that washing your hands twice does not remove all of
the residue and it will make your eyes sad). Realizing the generator
wasn't running only AFTER you started the vacuum (for the broken glass
of the Tabasco bottle). Although we managed to successfully pour
Kool-Aid without the lid to the pitcher (again, lost to Tabasco
contamination).

So, tonight we'll be going to bed early in an attempt to avoid any
further Tabasco effects. Because it burns.
