Departed: Exec. Officer and Chief Engineer at 1805 hr. Science
Specialist at 1827 hr;
Returned: Science Specialist and Chief Engineer at 1920 hr and Exec.
Officer at 1947 hr

Crew Members: Executive Officer, Chief Engineer and Science Specialist

Site Location: Region East and South of the Mars Desert Research Station

Transit Mode: On Foot.

Objectives:
1.Preliminary testing of rover mobility
2.Preliminary ground work for the wind turbine station.

Lessons Learned:
1. We need to replace setscrew and the drive train.
2. May be contemplate a different way to steer the Rover.
3. Proposed reinforced bar securing technique was effective
