Log Book for April 2, 2008
Commander's Check-In
Boris Yim Reporting


Crew Physical Status:
We are doing good. Sweaty after EVA and sleepy after noon. 1 slight
bruise in EVA.


Time Departed/Returned from EVA:
EVA 3 - 12:10pm to 1:35pm
EVA 4 - 2:30pm to 3:30pm
EVA 5 - 4:00pm to 5:55pm


Brief Narrative of Field Mission Results:
EVA 3 - Repaired hab door closing, measured dipole directions.
EVA 4 - Reviewed sterilized sample collection procedures.
EVA 5 - Dealt with radio, GPS, way points, animal tracks, etc.


EVA Data/Interpretations:
EVA 3 - First outdoor repair experienced. Door closed properly but
cannot open easily. Need another repair.
EVA 4 - Videoed the proper procedure for future operations.
EVA 5 - Radio range data collected, funny photos taken.


Hab Maintenance:
Hab is warm with only 1 heater. Door closing and EVA suit power cord
repaired.


Report Transmission Schedule:
As soon as possible: commander's, engineering, HSO, EVAs, science and
journalist reports.


Plans for Tomorrow:
Projects in the morning, more EVA for sterilized sample collection in
the afternoon. Possible projects include weather station, airplane,
treadmill, etc.


Inventory:
Adequate.

Improved EVA skills.
