Violette Manning Reporting
Generator/Electricity:
Wendy
Hobbs Meter: 4081.7 hrs [ +21.3 hrs since yesterday ]
Voltage: 119 VAC
Frequency: 59 Hz
Oil Level: full
Oil Pressure: 30 PSI
[*] Water Drained: no
Notes/Comments: Changed wendy's oil. At this time, the hab was running off of the DC battery banks. This proved to be a problem, as the voltage to these batteries dropped during this time. The hab lost power (~20:40).
With Céline, switched off the DC to DC converters and powered down Wendy to check the oil (part of the oil change process). Restarted Wendy, and monitored that Wendy recharged the DC battery banks from the Xantrex interface. When the battery bank voltage was normal, switched the DC to DC back on. Power was restored to the hab.
Advice: battery banks used as a backup system rather than part of normal ops.
Xantrex Inverter/Dynasty Batteries:

ATV Quantity: 7.5 quarts [ -0.5 quarts since yesterday ]
[*] V'ger Quantity: 0 quarts [ no change since yesterday ]
Water Status:
Outside Potable Water Tank Level: 200 gallons = 757.1 L
Trailer Potable Water Tank Level: 20.5 inches from the base
[**] Potable Water Meter Reading: 28326.5 gallons = 107227.1 L [ +123.7 gallons since yesterday ]
Out to Toilet Meter Reading: 8621.1 gallons = 32634.3 L [ +36.3 gallons since yesterday ]
[**] In to GreenHab Meter Reading: NaN gallons = NaN L
Dishwasher Runs: 0
Notes/Comments: The pump that is used to pump water from the trailer tank to the outside tank was discovered to be inop. It has been confirmed among the crew that none of us have operated the pump when it was not submersed (a common cause of failure with these pumps).
Attempted to use the pump in the outside tank that fills the inside potable tank to fulfill the purpose of filling the outside tank with the trailer tank. However, this pump is large and would not fit into the opening of the trailer tank.
With some effort, managed to get the inside tank filled although there is not much water pressure to help out.
