Journalist's Report
Guerric de Crombrugghe Reporting

"Good morning, Sun", said the poet, "Good morning plants, my friends,
trees, and fresh water!"

"Good morning, Sun", said the martian one thousand years later, "Good
morning rocks, my friends, sand, and water tank!"

Yesterday, we watched Steven Spielberg's "Close Encounter of the Third
Kind". I really like this movie : not much scenario, everything in the
images. I love the original contact that Spielberg imagines : light and
music.
Watching such a movie led us to talk about life in the universe. Is
there life elsewhere? Shall we make contact? Are we ready for a
contact? Will that be as poetic as in Spielberg's masterpiece? As
mysterious as in "2001"? Am I going to intercept an alien radio signal
as Jodie Foster in "Contact"?
Many questions, no answer.

One other great day on MDRS! A lot of work in the lab, a wonderfull
(filmed) EVA, electro music. What else could we ask?

Who- or whatever is in charge of this world : THANK YOU!

That was the red land talking to the blue & green land. Time for you to
go back to the real world!
