All the way up the almost disappeared Schriaparelli Highway to Brahe
Highway


Transit Mode:
ATV


Objectives:
- Collect samples in Gypsum Field (BHPT)

- Explore more of the surrounding area.


Lessons Learned:
- A good GPS is a must to navigate unfamiliar roads.
- Schriaparelli Highway has almost disappeared but tracks finally
discovered with the help of GPS.
- The road north of Carina's Quarry is difficult but very spectacular
with cliffs on both sides.
- Knowing the direction does not mean there is a drivable road to
there.
