Commander's Report

April 23, 2008

Henrik Hargitai

Part of the crew got up at sunrise for scenes in the movie. Then most
got back to sleep. The first and only EVA departed at 14h, for Widows
Peak and then to Toothy Ridge to construct a mythological frame to the
geological forms of the selected areas and document it as scenes for
our movie. The EVA team was very tired after returning but full of
excitement.

We have harvested radish, carrot, and onion from the greenhouse. Carrot is
OK but small, radish had problems, onion is fine and tasty. Our crew
Astronomer made a very good supper, as usual.

The event of the day was to deploy the c. 50% operational rover, Husar
2d which broadcasted live images from its camera to the hab.

The crew members today had more conversations than before - which is a
good sign of "resocialization" to form a new group.
