EVA #3 Report

January 25, 2010

Mike Moran

Time:
1220 - 1340

Crew Members:
Brian Shiro, Mike Moran

Site Location:
Radio Telescope

Transit Mode:
Walking

Objectives:
Move the power combiner and ground from the telescope's western edge to
below the middle of the north antenna in preparation for raising the
telescope to the twenty-foot height. Secured loose end of "to Hab" coax
cable with tape and plastic bag to prevent damage from dust/weather.

Lessons Learned:
Pointing the air outflow jets toward the face mask can help reduce
fogging, even under straining conditions and without using defogging
spray.
