EVA #7 Report

January 27, 2010

Luis Saraiva

Time:
12:15-12.35

Crew Members:
Luis Saraiva, Brian Shiro, and Carla Haroz

Site Location:
Intended: Radio Telescope

Transit Mode:
Walking

Objectives:
1) To familiarize ourselves with walking on snow; 2) See how the
lighting conditions affect our visibility without sunglasses; 3) Clear
the internet receiver from any accumulated snow.

Lessons Learned:
1) Walking on snow is very slippery, especially when not wearing the
correct boot size, 2) Carla and I were not wearing sunglasses and
realized that wearing sunglasses/ski goggles is a must when there is
snow everywhere.
